Announced 48-story project in Miami sponsored by Airbnb
June 21, 2019This week the city of Miami received the announcement of a new development called Natiivo, a 48-story tower that would be the first project in the city to be “sponsored by Airbnb,” with units designed for short-term rentals. Natiivo will collect 25% of revenue from management, as well as another 3% of Airbnb listing fee.
Natiivo, next to Miami Worldcenter, will have 604 units, of which, 400 will be for sale, and the remaining will be promoted as hotel rooms. The apartments for sale will be in the range of $300,000 to $ 1,2 million.
The units reserved for the developer will include bathrobes and slippers, laundry facilities, and kitchens that can be stocked with local dining platters upon request. Other services include dog walking and fresh flowers; also, check-in will be done with an app.
Newgard Development’s NGD Homesharing and Crescent Heights are the developers, with Cervera as the broker. Arquitectonica is behind the tower design, with Urban Robot for interiors.
