Architect David Chipperfield Selected for Miami Design District Expansion Project

Renowned architect David Chipperfield has been selected to spearhead the design of the west-end expansion of the Miami Design District, as announced by DACRA CEO Craig Robins. The envisioned development encompasses a five-star boutique hotel, condominiums, and upscale retail spaces.

This significant project comes from Chipperfield’s recent accolade—the prestigious 2023 Pritzker Architecture Prize.

Craig Robins shared the exciting news through social media: “I have a VERY special announcement. David Chipperfield has been retained to design the West End of the neighborhood. This will include a five-star boutique hotel, condos and luxury retail. Almost a year ago a partnership between Raycliff Capital, Fort Partners, Constellation Hotels Holding and Miami Design District Associates acquired 15 buildings on the West End of the Miami Design District. We cannot wait to get to work.”
