Armani Expands Luxury Living with New Residential Project in South Florida
November 22, 2024Italian fashion powerhouse Armani is launching its second residential venture in South Florida, marking another milestone in the region’s booming luxury waterfront condominium market.
The Armani/Casa Residences Pompano Beach will rise at 1550 N. Ocean Blvd. in Pompano Beach, Florida, in partnership with several local developers. This exclusive project will join the growing collection of high-end towers transforming the area, including the standalone Waldorf Astoria Residences and the Ritz-Carlton Residences, developed by industry leaders Related Group, Merrimac Ventures, Fortune International Group, and Oak Capital.
In a statement, Giorgio Armani expressed his enthusiasm for the project, calling it “one of the most exclusive” he has undertaken. He emphasized the inspiration drawn from integrating architecture, natural landscapes, and ocean views, which align with his vision of delivering bespoke luxury for a discerning clientele.
The Armani/Casa Residences Pompano Beach will feature two 19-story towers with 28 oceanfront units. Each floor will host a single residence, offering layouts ranging from 3,250 to 6,000 square feet, including expansive penthouses. Prices start at $5 million, and the development is slated for completion in 2028.
A Growing Luxury Destination
Pompano Beach, located 33 miles north of Miami in Broward County, is emerging as a prime destination for luxury real estate. Tomas Sinisterra, president of SP Developments, highlighted the area’s unique appeal, including lower-density living, unparalleled views, privacy, and exclusivity. These factors, coupled with South Florida’s favorable tax conditions, warm climate, and upscale lifestyle, draw buyers from major U.S. cities like New York and Los Angeles.
Demand for high-end condos in Broward County has surged. According to the Miami Association of Realtors, condo sales over $1 million in the county rose by 131% in September compared to 2019, outpacing increases in Palm Beach and Miami-Dade counties.
Armani’s Expanding Footprint
The Pompano Beach project builds on Armani/Casa’s global portfolio of luxury residences in cities like London, Beijing, Tel Aviv, Istanbul, and Mumbai. It follows the successful debut of Armani/Casa-branded condos in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, in 2019.
South Florida’s luxury real estate market has become a magnet for branded residences, with high-profile names such as Ritz-Carlton, Waldorf Astoria, and St. Regis setting the standard. Beyond hospitality brands, other fashion and automotive companies are entering the scene, further elevating the region’s status as a hub for affluent buyers.
Sinisterra sees excellent potential in Pompano Beach as a rising luxury destination, underscoring the city’s appeal for high-net-worth individuals. With experienced collaborators Vertical Developments, WellDuo, and GCF Development also contributing to the project, Armani/Casa Residences Pompano Beach promises to redefine waterfront living in South Florida.
