Auberge Resorts Collection, renowned for its exquisite luxury hotels, resorts, and residences, has been chosen by the Miami-based developers Witkoff and Monroe Capital to manage The Shore Club Resort & Residences, Auberge Resorts Collection in Miami Beach. Set to reopen in 2027, the rejuvenation of The Shore Club is not just a renovation, but a transformation into a luxury destination that will captivate and delight. This ambitious project aims to restore and elevate the iconic hotel, transforming it into one of the city’s most sought-after permanent addresses.
Located at 1901 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach since 1949, The Shore Club holds architectural and social historical significance. It was designed by Albert Anis in Art Deco style and has been a lush beachfront oasis, now even more verdant. Under the stewardship of Auberge Resorts Collection, the three-acre property, boasting 175 feet of oceanfront, will not only include the original Shore Club and its Art Deco counterpart, The Cromwell Hotel, built in 1939 but also introduce a new 18-story residential tower and a standalone villa, both designed by the esteemed Robert A.M. Stern Architects (RAMSA). These exclusive additions, designed with meticulous attention to detail, will offer a level of luxury and privacy that is truly unparalleled.

Working in close collaboration with esteemed firms such as London-based Bryan O’Sullivan Studio, Kobi Karp Architecture and Interior Design, RAMSA, and Auberge Resorts Collection, the transformation of The Shore Club is a testament to the commitment to preserving its historic integrity while ushering it into a new era of South Beach luxury. With just 73 rooms and suites, including a lavish penthouse, guests can anticipate direct beach access, five-star amenities amidst landscaped botanical gardens, and an exceptional service and experience synonymous with the Auberge Resorts Collection.
The property’s new 200-foot-tall residential tower, designed by RAMSA, draws inspiration from Miami Beach’s iconic MiMo architecture, featuring curves reminiscent of the ocean’s fluid form and offering vast terraces with endless water vistas. The Cromwell Hotel will be transformed into a discreet private residential entrance, granting homeowners access to 49 exclusive residences with distinct floor plans and stunning ocean views.
An exceptional addition to The Shore Club Resort & Residences is an 8,000-square-foot beach house, also designed by RAMSA. It is envisioned as a single-family and has a private entrance, swimming pool, and panoramic ocean views.
Residents and guests will be treated to a plethora of amenities, including a private fitness center, library, lounge, and residents-only pool. They will also have the privilege of dining at the signature restaurant, a vibrant café and bar, and indulging in the world-class Auberge spa and fitness center.
