Citadel Unveils Plans for New Supertall Tower in Brickell, Transforming Miami’s Skyline
August 30, 2024Citadel has unveiled conceptual plans for a striking new addition to the Miami skyline: a supertall tower at 1201 Brickell Bay Drive, set to rise 1,032 feet above sea level. This 54-story skyscraper is the first phase of a multi-phase development poised to redefine the landscape of Brickell, Miami’s bustling financial district.
This ambitious project highlights Citadel’s dedication to expanding its Miami presence, further cementing Brickell’s status as a thriving hub for business and innovation.
The 1201 tower will offer an impressive 1,293,373 square feet of premium office space, addressing the growing demand for modern work environments in the city’s heart. Additionally, the tower will include 212 luxurious hotel rooms, a state-of-the-art health spa, and a fully-equipped fitness club, emphasizing a commitment to wellness. The development will also feature a grand ballroom, ample parking facilities, and versatile conference and event spaces, making it a prime destination for business and social events.
Subsequent project phases at 1221 Brickell Avenue and 1250-1260 Brickell Bay Drive are expected to introduce a mix of office spaces, dining options, retail outlets, and residential units.
Foster + Partners designed the project, with AAI architects as the architect of record and Field Operations handling landscape architecture.
