Coming Soon: Miami Beach is Getting a New 19.4-Acre Park

After voters’ approval, Miami Beach’s prior Par 3 Golf Course will be transformed into a 19.3 acres public park. $15.7 million of the $439 million in bonds approved were set aside to build the park.

Because the land was found to contaminated with a significant amount of arsenic, environmental remediation is also planned for the site.

For now, the initial plans done by Savino Miler Design Studios shows a park surrounds a lake, with walking trails, a dog park, gardens, butterfly gardens, play areas and several parking lots.
