Construction Commences at the 750-Foot St. Regis Sunny Isles Beach
September 1, 2023Construction has officially commenced on the inaugural tower at The St. Regis Residences, Sunny Isles Beach, as reported by the SFBJ.
The developers initiated the groundbreaking ceremony after successfully selling approximately $900 million in the first tower, accounting for about 75% of the 175 units available. Among the notable sales was a penthouse valued at $55 million.
Anticipated sales for the second tower are expected to kick off in the upcoming winter season.
Both towers are planned to soar to 62 stories, reaching a remarkable height of 750 feet, solidifying their status as the tallest structures in Sunny Isles.
The development envisions 336 residential units spread across both towers, as a utility agreement indicates. Additionally, the project will feature two restaurants and an impressive 70,000 square feet of amenities to enhance residents’ living experiences.
Notably, marketing materials highlight the incorporation of 53,372 square feet of photovoltaic glass on the western façade of the development. This innovative feature is poised to generate an estimated 530,000 kilowatt hours of solar energy annually while reducing the presence of infrared radiation.
