Continuum Company Breaks Ground on La Baia North: A New Standard for Luxury Waterfront Living in Bay Harbor Islands

Continuum Company has officially broken ground on La Baia North, the second of two luxury bayfront condominiums developed in Miami’s Bay Harbor Islands. This follows the success of its neighboring project, La Baia South, for which Continuum previously secured a $90 million construction loan and which is now 100% sold.
Located at 9481 E. Bay Harbor Drive, the eight-story La Baia North will offer 57 units, of which 60% are already sold. The residences will showcase views of Biscayne Bay, the Atlantic Ocean, Miami Beach, and downtown Miami. Completion is expected by the first quarter of 2027.
“Breaking ground on La Baia North marks a pivotal moment for Bay Harbor Islands, an area with immense untapped potential,” said Continuum’s Chairman and CEO Bruce Eichner. “This project demonstrates our commitment to development in this thriving community. La Baia North will set a new standard for waterfront living, blending the neighborhood’s unique character with modern sophistication.”
La Baia North units will feature two to four bedrooms, ranging from 1,400 to 2,100 square feet, and prices starting at $1.4 million. Each residence will include private terraces with transparent glass railings, dedicated home office spaces for remote work, and optional private boat slips.
The building’s community amenities will cover more than 8,500 square feet, including a sundeck, heated soaking spas, a sunset lounge with a fire pit, and unique rooftop offerings like a splash pad, kids’ play lawn, rooftop grill station, hanging nest swings, study pods, and rooftop tents. Residents will also enjoy a dockside pick-up and drop-off area, a 9,700-square-foot rooftop amenity deck, and a water sports launch dock with kayaks, inflatables, and paddleboards.
The development team for La Baia North includes Jacob’s Construction as the general contractor, Gutman Development Marketing overseeing sales, architect Luis Revuelta, C. Wright Studios for landscaping and pool design, and interior designer Durukan Design.
