Florida Gains 1,000 New Residents Daily in 2023, According to Census Data

The state’s growth rate for the year was 1.6%, making it the second-fastest-growing state on a percentage basis, with only South Carolina surpassing it.
In terms of sheer numbers, Texas outpaced all other states, adding 473,453 residents during the same period. Despite this, Florida now boasts a population that surpasses New York’s by 3 million residents, and this lead continued to expand throughout the year.
