A new Mediterranean restaurant and private members-only lounge will soon open at the top of 830 Brickell, Miami’s newest skyscraper. Miami Members Hospitality, a collaboration between Vlad Doronin’s OKO Group and Tao Group Hospitality, is launching this exclusive venue in 2025.

Located in the 55-story 830 Brickell office tower, this marks Miami Members Hospitality’s first venture, with Tao Group leading operations. The tower, developed by OKO Group and Cain International, is the first standalone office building in Brickell’s Financial District in over a decade. Notably, it is fully leased to major tenants such as Citadel, Kirkland & Ellis, and Thoma Bravo.

Japanese Dining Ventures Open in Miami Design District

Miami’s dining scene continues to evolve. Soon, Nami Nori, a Japanese temaki restaurant, and Matsuyoi, a new dining concept, will open in the Miami Design District. These restaurants will occupy 3,700 square feet at 156 Northeast 41st Street.

Nami Nori, famous for its open-style hand rolls, will debut on December 16, 2024. Shortly after, Matsuyoi will open on December 30, 2024. The project is spearheaded by Launchpad Hospitality with creative input from Pharrell Williams. Meanwhile, Miami Design District Associates, a joint venture between Dacra and L Catterton Real Estate, owns the property.

UHealth Expands in Boca Raton

The University of Miami Health System (UHealth) has relocated its Boca Raton clinic to a larger space at Grover Corlew’s Palmetto Central office campus. The 17,000-square-foot clinic, now at 1489 West Palmetto Central, replaces the former location at Florida Atlantic University’s campus.

Palmetto Central spans two buildings with a total of 170,000 square feet. This move allows UHealth to enhance medical services and patient care.

Luxury Showroom Opens in Coral Gables Landmark

Designer Christopher King has launched a luxury showroom in Coral Gables’ historic Douglas Entrance. The 12,000-square-foot space, located in the former ballroom of George Merrick, showcases high-end leather goods, custom furniture, and elegant tableware.

Earlier this year, Colonnade Properties acquired Douglas Entrance (La Puerta Del Sol) for $76 million.

Pilar Coffee Bar Debuts in Deerfield Beach

A new café is making waves in Deerfield Beach. Pilar Coffee Bar and Iced Treats has opened its flagship location, leasing 1,800 square feet at The Cove, a popular retail and dining hub. The café serves specialty coffee, fresh-baked goods, and an extensive breakfast and lunch menu.

Palm Beach Welcomes Kai Lassen Hats

Luxury hat designer Kai Lassen has unveiled a boutique in Palm Beach’s Paramount building. The 430-square-foot store features handcrafted hats and custom designs.

The historic Paramount building, once a silent movie theater, now serves as a mixed-use development. Woerner Holdings acquired the property in 2021 for $14 million.
