  • Arch 3 – 180 feet above the ground, 187 feet above sea level
  • Arch 4 – 250 feet above the ground, 253 feet above sea level
  • Arch 5 – 330 feet above the ground, 332 feet above sea level
  • Arch 6 – 250 feet above the ground, 252 feet above sea level

The four boom cranes also receive authorization to be installed, each at the height of 420 feet above the ground. They are planned to stay put until February 2021.

The bridge’s design will be unique, says the contractor Archer Western de Moya. The “Miami Fountain of Light” design as even a LED lighting system at night.

While the project completion is expected only for 2023, traffic relief should come much sooner, explained the contractors. That’s because, within 12 months of the start of construction, new lanes and ramps will start to enhance the flow of vehicles.
