Porsche Design Tower Nears Completion
Closings at Porsche Design Tower, the 60-story Sunny Isles beach luxury high-rise are underway as the project received its temporary certificate of occupancy this month after three years of construction. Although common area additions are still a month or two away from completion, residences are being release to their owners. Pre-sold units at the luxury development have totaled over $760 million to date, a total of 126 of the 132 condos in the project.
According to reports of the six remaining units, two are penthouses boasting list price in upwards of $32.5 million. The developer has suggested that 22 billionaires have purchased units in the building, sales which have not yet been recorded in county records. The most recent sale recorded was the $10 million transaction to Brazilian media mogul Edir Macedo, who according to Forbes is worth at least $1.1 billion.
Porsche Design tower, by famed auto manufacturer Porsche, is one of the first luxury towers in the US for the brand. More car branded properties have popped up since Porsche’s debut in the real estate market including the Bugatti styled villas in Dubai and the Aston Martin Residences in Miami which are in the works. If this trend continues Miami could well see a Maserati , Lamborghini, or even Rolls-Royce Residences.
The Porsche tower is also the first development to contain a unique and patented “Dezervator,” essentially a glass-walled “sky garage” that connects to a drive-in car elevator that is ushered to each owners residence. Standard units can display up to nine cars, with extra space available for an added purchase price. Luxury resort amenities included at the property includes private balcony plunge swimming pools, outdoor kitchens, access to an onsite restaurant, ballroom, movie theater, spa and game room, racing and golf simulators, and features “man caves” for sale. The cutting-edge condos also offer unparalleled ocean-front views via floor-to-ceiling windows and designer appointed units with remarkable high-end fixtures and appliances.
At the Porsche Design tower, the height of opulence is imagined in penthouse residences. Currently for sale is a 19,043-square-foot residence encompassing the entire four top floors; which offers an exhibition space for 11 cars; and showcases two private swimming pools, four suites, six and a half bathrooms, two balconies with outdoor kitchens, and a rooftop terrace.
