A new penthouse at The Seaway at the Surf Club in Surfside has set a major milestone. It sold for $86 million, marking the highest condo sale ever recorded in Miami-Dade County.
The seller was SCR Residences LLC, part of Fort Lauderdale–based Fort Partners. The buyer, Surfclub 11 LLC, is linked to WE Family Offices in Miami. Because the company is Delaware-registered, the individual behind the purchase remains unknown.
The 16,053-square-foot Penthouse 11 closed at $5,357 per square foot. This price highlights the continued demand for prime, ultra-luxury homes along the beach.

The Seway offers 34 boutique residences and a rooftop pool. Residents receive service from the neighboring Four Seasons Residences at the Surf Club, and they also gain full access to the Surf Club’s world-class amenities. This combination creates one of the most desirable waterfront living experiences in Miami.
Penthouse 11 is one of only three penthouses in the building. It also features a large private rooftop, which adds significant value and privacy.

This record-setting sale underlines Miami’s growing status as a global luxury hub. Moreover, it may not hold the record for long. Several outlets report that a penthouse at the under-construction Shore Club Residences in Miami Beach is under contract for $120 million.
