Renderings: Biggest Project Ever coming to Coral Gables

Construction is underway at the Plaza Coral Gables, the largest project ever built in Coral Gables. The project, valued at $600 million, will include 2.1 million square feet of space, covering seven acres and three city blocks.

It will include roughly:

• 174 luxury residential rental apartments
• 242 hotel rooms, with the hotel rated 4.5 stars
• 161,000 square feet of retail, with a focus on food and beverage
• 447,000 square feet of office space in two towers
• 2,400 parking spaces

The north parcel first phase broke ground last summer (including residential, office and retail), and is on track for completion by the end of 2020. The central and southern parcels will follow the northern construction.

Agave Ponce, LLC, a subsidiary of Agave Holdings, LLC, is the developer with RTKL as the architect.
