Unveiling Initial Impressions: The Perigon Showcases New Renderings of Expansive Oceanfront Haven
January 19, 2024The Perigon, an iconic diamond-shaped luxury condominium tower crafted by international architecture firm OMA, has unveiled a sneak peek into the 2.5 acres of prime oceanfront land in Miami Beach. The never-before-seen renderings showcase a meticulously designed ground plane featuring lush greenery by Gustafson Porter + Bowman, an oceanfront pool, and a private beach club—a true private oasis for residents.
The renderings vividly portray the ground level, conceived as a haven for residents to explore nature trails encircling the tower, bask in the sun, savor poolside dining services curated by Michelin-starred Chef Shaun Hergatt, and establish an intimate connection with South Florida’s warm environment.
Distinguished by its vast acreage, a rare feature in waterfront high-rises, the 73-residence tower appears to “float” above the ground due to OMA’s meticulous design. The first-level space enhances The Perigon’s five-star amenities, including a private beach club, pristine swimming pools with cabanas, and expansive gardens surrounding the property. Gustafson Porter + Bowman, renowned for designing the green spaces of the Eiffel Tower, has created gardens featuring meandering nature trails, secret nooks, water features, and diverse biomes to offer a serene and dynamic experience.
The 17-story building boasts a bold, terraced design rising 200 feet above the shoreline, providing 1,250 lineal feet of tower gardens. The diamond-shaped “towers” are strategically rotated to optimize views from all residences toward the Atlantic Ocean, Biscayne Bay, and the Miami skyline, aiming for LEED Gold certification upon completion in 2026.
Nestled between Indian Creek and the Atlantic Ocean at 5333 Collins Avenue, The Perigon offers 73 two- to four-bedroom condominiums ranging from 2,100 to 6,700 square feet, with exclusive guest suites. The development initially cost $4.15 million; the residences feature top-tier finishes, direct water views, 10-foot ceiling heights, and expansive balconies. Additional amenities include a private oceanfront restaurant, an oceanfront swimming pool, a terraced fitness center, a children’s playroom, a billiards room, a private salon, a screening room, and more.
