Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences Miami Progresses Towards Completion, Set to Redefine the City’s Skyline

Construction is advancing rapidly at PMG’s Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences Miami, a landmark project destined to transform the city’s skyline as the first supertall tower in Miami. At 100 stories and an impressive height of 1,049 feet, it will become the tallest residential building south of New York City. Nineteen floors have been successfully poured, with an average of one floor completed every ten days. The construction team is working on the pool level, with the amenity level slated to follow soon. Additionally, installation of the tower’s glass facade has begun for its first cube.

Managed by John Moriarty & Associates, the development is being led by PMG in collaboration with Canadian private equity firm Greybrook, global investment company Mohari Hospitality, S2 Development, and renowned hospitality brand Hilton, which secured a $668 million construction loan in June 2024.

At 300 Biscayne Boulevard, Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences Miami will feature 387 private residences and 205 luxury guest rooms, offering sweeping 360-degree views of Downtown Miami, Miami Beach, and the Atlantic Ocean. The tower’s unique design, consisting of nine spiraling, offset glass cubes wrapped in a striking “glass skin,” will set it apart from any other structure on the East Coast. The visionary design, developed by Sieger Suarez Architects in collaboration with celebrated architect Carlos Ott, blends modern luxury with architectural innovation.

The first three cubes will house signature Waldorf Astoria spaces and amenities, including the iconic Peacock Alley, a fine dining restaurant, versatile event venues, and a resort-style pool deck with private cabanas. Guests can also access a wellness spa and a fully equipped fitness center.

Private amenities will ensure an elevated lifestyle for the residents, with an exclusive owners-only lobby, a sophisticated lounge, a billiard room, a children’s club, and an elevated pool deck. Each residence will come equipped with state-of-the-art smart-home technology, offering residents customized concierge services through a mobile app, including dining reservations, 24/7 room service, spa treatments, and even dog-walking services.
